Journey College Enrollment Guide for Spring 2026 – SEU Partner Site Edition


STEP 1: Complete the Journey College Application

  • Begin by completing the Journey College application form if you have not already done so.
  • Once your application is received, we will reach out to schedule an introductory meeting with Gianna the Director of Journey College if you have not already done so.
  • If you’re pursuing the SEU Track, please hold off on applying to the SEU Partner Site through Journey Church until you’ve received your official Journey College acceptance.

STEP 2: Submit Your FAFSA (if you haven’t already)

To determine your financial aid eligibility—including grants and student loans—you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). SEU’s institutional scholarships aren’t available for partner site programs:

Strongly recommended for all students, even if uncertain about eligibility.

Loans Available:

  • Federal Direct Subsidized & Unsubsidized
  • Parent PLUS (credit-based; if denied, you may get an additional unsubsidized loan)
  • Private loans via SEU’s FastChoice Tool
    Financial Clearance vs Fire Ready: Fire Ready completion includes financial clearance  .

STEP 1: Confirm Your Enrollment

  • Submit the Enrollment Confirmation Form (ECF) as soon as possible. This form is located in your SEU Welcome Letter.
  • Completing the ECF secures your seat as a Partner Site Undergraduate student and unlocks your full Fire Ready process.

STEP 2: Begin the Fire Ready Clearance

Once your ECF is submitted, continue through the Fire Ready Process!

You can track your Fire Ready status in MyPortal (JICS).


STEP 4: Register for Your Spring 2026 Classes & Practicum

Follow the instructions below to register:

Set Up Account Access:

  • Login: SEU OneLogin
  • Use your SEU email or Student ID (Your SEU Welcome Letter contains your SEU email address and student ID)
  • You may be prompted to set up password and security questions on first login

Registration Steps:

  1. Log in to SEU OneLogin
  2. Click JICS
  3. Go to Student tab
  4. Click Student Registration

Course Recommendations:

  • 4 to 3 academic classes total: 2 in Session A, 2 in Session B
  • 1 Practicum Ministry Course (Required)
    • Only available in a 16-week format

View Your Degree Audit:

  • Go to JICS → Student tab → Degree Info
  • Click View All Details → Recalculate Student Progress → Grad Report
  • Transfer credit updates may take up to 4 weeks after transcript arrival

STEP 5: Review Your Financial Aid Portal

Your Financial Aid Portal gives you access to important information and documents. Here’s how to access it:

Access Instructions:

  1. Log in to SEU OneLogin
  2. Click Financial Aid Portal
  3. Open the Menu to:
    1. View/accept/defer your Financial Aid Offer
    2. Upload and manage My Documents

Key Info:

  • Aid is based on your FAFSA and application details
  • Offer letters are emailed to your SEU email once accepted
  • This portal does not show tuition charges

Required Documents:

  • Documents marked Not Received / Not Signed / Incomplete require action
  • Not Reviewed items are pending SFS counselor processing
  • Visit the Forms tab to access necessary uploads
  • Submit forms on time to avoid delays in aid

STEP 6: Complete Financial Clearance

Required to guarantee your registration and participation. Cover your semester tuition charges. Delays can place a hold on your account and impede registration.

Steps to Finalize Clearance:

  1. Log in to SEU OneLogin
  2. Click JICS → Student Finances
  3. Select NelNet MyAccount Info

  • Use a monthly payment plan (no interest, no credit check, low-cost enrollment fee, Card payments may include a service fee)
  • Apply financial aid toward your balance

STEP 7: Submit Final Transcripts

Required:

  • High school or GED transcript (if under 60 college credits)
  • All college transcripts (AP, CLEP, dual-enrollment, IB, etc.)

Homeschooled?

Follow SEU's Homeschool Transcript Guidelines.

Provisional Fire Ready status is granted if you provide proof of transcript request while documents are pending.
