SEU Fire Ready - JLA Partner Site Checklist

Fall 2025 Enrollment | Step-by-Step Checklist to Get Fully Ready


STEP 1: Confirm Enrollment

☐ Submit the Enrollment Confirmation Form (found in your SEU Welcome Letter)


STEP 2: Set Up SEU Accounts

☐ Log in to SEU OneLogin using your SEU email or ID

☐ Set up your security questions on first login

☐ Access:

MyPortal (JICS) for registration and student info

Financial Aid Portal for aid documents and award info


STEP 3: Register for Classes

☐ Go to OneLogin > JICS > Student > Student Registration

☐ Register for:

☐ 2 academic classes in Session A

☐ 2 academic classes in Session B

☐ 1 Practicum Ministry Course (ask your advisor for course code)

☐ View your Degree Audit under Student > Degree Info > Grad Report


STEP 4: Submit Final Transcripts

☐ Request official high school/GED transcript (if under 60 college credits)

☐ Submit all college, dual enrollment, CLEP, AP, or IB transcripts

☐ Homeschool students: Follow SEU-specific transcript requirements

☐ Confirm all documents are marked Received in your Financial Aid Portal


STEP 5: Complete Financial Aid Process

☐ Submit the FAFSA

☐ Check your SEU Financial Aid Portal

☐ Accept or defer your financial aid offer

☐ Upload all required documents

☐ Monitor for any items marked:

☐ Not Received, Not Signed, Incomplete

☐ Set up or decline Federal or Parent PLUS Loans

☐ Use SEU’s FastChoice tool to explore Private Loans if needed


STEP 6: Clear Financial Holds

☐ Go to OneLogin > JICS > Student Finances > NelNet MyAccount Info

☐ Choose a payment method:

Full payment

Monthly payment plan

Financial aid

☐ Ensure your Financial Clearance is completed before class start

☐ Watch your SEU email for preliminary bill and next steps
